What is the EU GPSR?
The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has applied since 13 December 2024. It requires all non-food consumer products placed on the EU market to have an EU Responsible Person, enhanced traceability, and safety documentation.
What is EUDR?
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) mandates that products like timber, rubber, cocoa, coffee, and soy must not be linked to deforestation. Note: Compliance dates have been amended (Large/medium: 30 Dec 2025/2026, Micro/small: 30 June 2026/2027) and must be verified against the current DGFT/CLE position. Exporters must provide plot-level geolocation data.
What is REACH Compliance?
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) applies to all chemical substances manufactured or imported into the EU in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year. It impacts chemicals, plastics, textiles, and electronics.
Does my product need a CE Mark?
CE marking is mandatory for certain product groups traded in the EEA, such as electronics, machinery, toys, and medical devices. It indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
